The P-41 pattern was adopted by the USMC in November 1941, commonly known as P41. It was originally intended to be worn for work and training, but with the outbreak of the war, The USMC immediately put the wear-resistant and comfortable suit to use in combat, and the uniform became known as a combat uniform.
The P-41 uniforms are composed of jacket and pants. The jacket has four copper-plated metal buttons with the abbreviation of U.S. Marine Corps on the top fly of the jacket, two metal buttons and a buttonhole on the cuff, marines badge and USMC printed on the left breast, and there are pockets on each side of the waist, without pleats on the back. The overall design is very simple and bright.
The uniform was widely used throughout world War II in the Marine Corps and the Pacific Theater. As for the P44, which emerged later in World War II, it was distributed in a small number of units.
